Spelt flour is a fantastic wheat-free alternative which still provides sufficient taste, nutrients and all-round value.

Spelt is a whole grain product found in cereals but unlike most other flours, it does not contain Wheat (although part of the Wheat family). Similar to Wheat, Spelt does also contain gluten which means it can be used effectively in the making of bread (which is great in taste and full of nutrients).

Especially useful for those with Wheat allergies.

Spelt can be effectively substituted into all products that would usually contain Wheat, as it will provide a great taste and not compromise on texture too much.
