Polypropylene Hand Strapping

Polypropylene Strapping

Polypropylene strapping, or banding, is an economical material which is designed for light to medium-duty applications including palletising, bundling, collation, and parcel & package strapping.

Polypropylene strapping is our most popular form of strapping: it is highly user-friendly and cost-effective whilst offering more than adequate strength and durability for a multitude of tasks.

Polypropylene strapping can be divided into two main sub-categories: hand strapping and machine strapping. The difference mainly centres around the type of core and length of strap on the reel, with machine strapping generally having a longer amount. The machine strapping range includes narrow-width strapping for use with high-speed strapping machines because most machine strapping is largely associated with collation, bundling and sealing applications it tends to have a lower breaking strain than hand strapping which can be used for multiple tasks including palletisation, and therefore is available with much higher breaking strain specification.
