Hotmelt Polypropylene Tapes
Highly recommended mid-range tape option from well-known brands including 3M Scotch.
This range of tapes is our bestseller, and is popular with customers across all industries including both small volume and large volume users. If we were to recommend one style of tape, it would be the Hotmelt Polypropylene because it ticks so many boxes (and seals so many too!).
Designed for both manual and machine carton sealing these tapes can be applied with use of a dispenser or by hand, so long as some downward pressure is applied upon application. Also used for a multitude of general packaging uses and common taping operations.
These hotmelt-adhesive tapes are an excellent option for most applications and benefit from the following properties:
Good conformity and adhesion to most shapes, uniform and irregular.
Compatible with moisture after application.
Instant adhesion.
Good degree of resistance to changes in temperature.
High mechanical strength.
Long lasting adhesion.
This style of tape has an excellent high tack adhesive, has an easy and noisy unwind (due to it’s release application), and is particularly recommended for carton sealing including recycled cartons.
We have a popular selection of sizes available in either transparent or brown, from leading manufacturers Vibac and 3M.
