2lb Jam Jar

Large 2lb traditional round jam jar, ideal if you are looking for something a bit bigger than normal. Benefitting from an 82mm neck, you can shovel in your jam to your heart’s content – because believe me; the 2lb* capacity takes some filling! Perfect for pickled goodies such as gherkins, shallots, eggs, and onions as all products would be kept fresh by our lids which as standard are poly-lined and so vinegar proof. Equally, these jars can be used to store large batches of jams, spreads and other preserves. We actually use them to store marbles at home – when the kids have filled their jars with marbles for good behaviour they get a treat. Apparently, it’s called a reward scheme these days – commonly referred to as bribery!
