Our hugely popular thicker 90mu vacuum pouches are ideal for the more demanding applications. Traditionally used within the meat industry to cope with products such as meat on-the-bone and the processes of rigorous handling.

Thicker, tougher and more durable than 65mu pouches – with greater strength and higher puncture resistance. These pouches are suitable for standard vacuum packaging applications where a more robust bag or longer shelf life is required.

Our 90mu vacuum pouches are supplied by a manufacturing partner with over 40 years’ experience in the manufacture and supply of barrier films. Our supplier has developed proven technology to produce the best products available.

As such, our 90mu vacuum pouches are manufactured with a 5-layer construction offering excellent mechanical strength and high puncture resistance, whilst maintaining superb clarity and benefitting from high formability and outstanding sealing characteristics. With the outer layer being nylon, the issue of pouches sticking together is eliminated.

These pouches are suitable for:

  • Storing fresh foods for extended shelf life such as meat, vegetable, cheese, liquids, etc.
  • Storing frozen foods for longer periods whilst eliminating ‘freezer burn’. Our pouches are suitable for environments down to -40°C.
  • Cooking in some applications. Our pouches are resistant to temperatures of +85°C. However, they may be suitable for higher temperature cooking applications – but since there are so many variables such as cooking time, temperature and product being cooked we would advise you request samples to run your own trials if you have any doubts.
