The products within this category are manufactured from polypropylene (PP), which has excellent properties including durability and very high clarity. Because of its appearance and crinkly characteristic, polyprop is often confused with cellophane. The difference is whereas cellophane is derived from cellulose (wood pulp), PP is a plastic derived from polymers. PP has become immensely popular due to its affordability, stiffness & strength, temperature resistance and shelf life.
